Become a Weekend Pacesetter
Weekend Pacesetters are not just typical walkers—they are extraordinary participants who go above and beyond to support the efforts of The Weekend to End Women's Cancers. These amazing teams are groups of individuals dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer and gynecologic cancers by spreading awareness and raising a significant amount of money to further this cause. In fact, these Pacesetters recruit the most people and raise the most money.
The hard work that The Weekend Pacesetters put forth certainly does not go unnoticed. We want to highlight the efforts of these amazing Walkers, as a way to give back to them for all of their contributions to this event. As a special thank you, teams will receive rewards and recognition for their participation in The Weekend, listed below.
There is no sign up required to be a Weekend Pacesetter. Just watch this website for a list of Pacesetters who have met these extraordinary levels of achievement.
White Ribbon Pacesetters
Minimum 7 members on your team AND $15,000 raised by team
- Online recognition for team and captain
- Special Weekend to End Women's Cancers Pacesetter ribbons to wear on event
- Team Captain invitation to post-event recognition party
Red Ribbon Pacesetters
Minimum 12 members on team OR $25,000 raised by team
- All of the above
- Reserved VIP seating in the dining tent
- Special recognition at the finish line
Blue Ribbon Pacesetters
Minimum 25 members on team OR $50,000 raised by team
- All of the above
- Team Name and Captain’s name on a special 2010 Weekend plaque to be prominently displayed
